Acceptable use
A tool that generates realistic people saying things they never said can be misused. This page is specific about where the line is, because “be reasonable” is not a rule anyone can follow.
Do not generate
- Anything sexual. No nudity, no sexual content, no suggestive material involving anyone. Absolutely nothing sexual involving minors — we report that to the authorities and close the account immediately, with no appeal.
- A real person without their permission. Do not generate a recognisable individual — a public figure, a competitor, an ex-employee, anyone — presenting, endorsing, or appearing to say something. Synthetic presenters are fine; a synthetic version of a real person is not.
- Content that hides that it is synthetic when that matters. Using a generated presenter in an advert is normal and expected. Presenting a generated clip as authentic footage of a real event, a real customer, or real testimony is deception, and in advertising law it is often illegal.
- False claims about a product. Health, financial and safety claims especially. The model will happily say whatever your brief implies; that does not make it true, and it does not make it lawful.
- Hate, harassment or incitement. No content attacking people over race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation. No threats, no targeted harassment, no glorification of violence.
- Election and public-health disinformation, including anything about voting procedures, candidates, or medical guidance that you know to be false.
- Fraud. No fake giveaways, fake investment returns, phishing, fake support lines, or impersonation of a brand you do not represent.
- Someone else’s intellectual property. Do not upload photographs, logos or brand assets you have no right to use, and do not attempt to reproduce a protected character or trade dress.
- Graphic violence, self-harm, or content promoting either.
- Illegal goods and services — weapons, controlled substances, stolen data, counterfeits.
Do not attack the service
- Do not try to reach another customer’s workspace, videos, products or channels. Every route is scoped to your own workspace and attempts are logged.
- Do not attempt to evade credit accounting, share one account across separate businesses to avoid plan limits, or create multiple accounts to farm free trials.
- Do not automate the interface to place load beyond your plan’s concurrency, scrape it, or resell access as an API. If you want programmatic access, ask us.
- Do not upload malware, or files crafted to exploit the image or video pipeline.
Reselling and client work
Using ReelForge for clients is expected — agencies are a large part of who this is for. Higher plans include multiple brand workspaces for exactly that. What you may not do is present the service itself as your own product, or give a client your login instead of them having an account.
How this is enforced
The underlying AI providers refuse some requests outright, and those refusals are not billed. On top of that, we act on reports and on signals in our own logs. Depending on severity we will warn you, remove content, suspend generation, or close the account. Illegal content involving minors, credible threats, and coordinated fraud get no warning.
If you think we got a decision wrong, reply to the notice or open a ticket from Support & tickets — a real person reviews it.
Reporting something
If you have seen a video made with ReelForge that breaks these rules — particularly one impersonating you — email support@storeswiki.com with a link or a copy. Say it is an acceptable-use report so it gets routed quickly.
