Terms of service
These terms are the agreement between you and StoresWiki LLC (Lewes, Delaware, USA) for using ReelForge. By creating an account you accept them.
1. What the service does
ReelForge generates short-form video from a written brief. You describe a product or an idea, optionally upload a photograph of your product, and we produce a finished vertical video with synthesised footage, voice, music and captions. Generation is performed by third-party AI models (currently Google’s Veo, Imagen, Lyria and Cloud Text-to-Speech) which we call on your behalf.
We do not promise that any particular video will be usable, accurate, or suitable for your purpose. Generative models are probabilistic: two runs of the same brief produce different results, and a result can be wrong, odd, or off-brand. Review every video before you publish it.
2. Your account
You need an account to use the service. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at support@storeswiki.com if you think someone else has access, and we will end all active sessions for you.
You must be at least 18 and, if you are signing up for a company, authorised to accept these terms on its behalf.
3. Credits, plans and what you are charged
Generation is metered in credits. Every plan includes a monthly allowance, and you can buy more at any time. Credits measure real generation cost, not a number of videos — a thirty-second cinematic short costs several times an eight-second product clip, and pretending otherwise would mean either overcharging short videos or losing money on long ones.
- Credits are held, then settled. When you start a video we place a hold that covers the whole job. When it finishes we charge only the steps that actually ran and release the rest.
- A failed video is not fully charged. If generation fails partway, you pay for the steps that completed and the remainder returns to your balance automatically. If nothing ran, you are charged nothing.
- Plan credits reset each billing period and do not roll over. Credits you buy separately as a top-up do not expire while your account is open.
- Every step is recorded. Your account holds a line-by-line ledger of what was generated and what it cost in credits.
Plans renew automatically until you cancel. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax we are required to add. We may change prices, but not within a period you have already paid for, and we will tell you before a change affects your renewal.
4. Free trial
A new account gets 600 credits, which is enough for one complete video. No card is required. Trial output carries a ReelForge watermark and is limited to the entry quality tier — see pricing for what each plan includes.
5. Who owns what
You own your inputs. The briefs you write, the photographs you upload, your logo and your brand settings remain yours. You grant us only the licence we need to run the service: to store them, send them to the AI providers listed in our privacy policy, and produce your videos.
You may use the videos you generate commercially — in ads, on your own channels, for clients — subject to the acceptable-use rules below and to the terms of the underlying model providers.
We do not claim ownership of your videos. But be aware of two real limits that are not ours to remove:
- The legal status of copyright in AI-generated output is unsettled in many countries, and in some — including the United States — purely machine-generated material may not be copyrightable at all. We cannot promise you an enforceable copyright in a generated video.
- Generative models can produce output resembling existing work. We cannot warrant that a video does not infringe someone’s rights. You are responsible for what you publish.
We will not use your briefs, photographs or videos to train our own models, and we do not licence them to anyone else. If we ever want to show your work as an example, we will ask you first.
6. Publishing to your own channels
You can connect Instagram, Facebook or LinkedIn accounts and publish directly. When you do, you authorise us to post on your behalf. We store the access tokens encrypted and use them only for the actions you ask for. New posts default to private or unlisted where the platform allows it, because a post cannot be un-published. Disconnecting a channel deletes its tokens.
7. API access and your keys
On plans that include it, you can issue API keys and order videos from your own code. A key acts on one workspace and carries the same permissions as ordering in the app, so anything it does counts against your credits and your plan limits exactly as if you had pressed the button yourself.
A key is yours to protect. We show the secret once, at the moment you create it, and store only a hash of it — which means we cannot recover it for you and cannot tell you what an existing key is. If a key leaks, revoke it in the dashboard; revocation takes effect immediately and we keep the record that it existed. Usage through a key that you failed to revoke is still your usage.
We rate-limit the API and may refuse requests that exceed those limits, and we may suspend a key that is being used to attack the service or to work around a plan limit. Keys are for your own use: do not resell API access or expose it as a service to third parties without asking us first.
8. Acceptable use
The acceptable-use policy is part of these terms. In short: do not generate content that is illegal, deceptive about who is speaking, sexual, hateful, or designed to impersonate a real person. We enforce it, and serious breaches end the account.
9. Availability
We aim to keep the service running, but we do not offer an uptime guarantee. Generation depends on third-party models that occasionally fail or rate-limit us; when that happens we retry transient failures and refund what did not run. We may change or withdraw features, and will give notice before removing something you rely on.
10. Suspension and ending the agreement
You can cancel at any time from your billing settings — see refunds and cancellation for what happens to the remainder of a period. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that we are legally required to act on, or whose payment has failed and gone unresolved. Where the situation allows it, we tell you first and give you the chance to fix it.
After an account closes, generated videos are retained for the period your plan specifies and are then deleted. Export anything you want to keep before you cancel.
11. Liability
We provide the service as it is. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data, or damages arising from content you chose to publish. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we will email the address on your account and show a notice in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new version.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, and the courts of Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in a country whose law gives you rights that cannot be contracted away, those rights still apply.
